STREET HUMOR broke alertly and vied for the early lead, ceded the front into the first turn then stalked the pace between rivals along the backstretch, roused two wide nearing the quarter marker, took command into the stretch and led inside of the furlong pole, could not hold off the oncoming winner in deep stretch and was clear of the rest for the place. CODE RUNNER was unhurried early, roused four wide nearing the quarter pole, swung five wide to upper stretch, closed willingly to the final sixteenth, could not reel in the top pair late but was clear in the end for third. WINSITWELL settled in the second flight to begin, shifted out for the backstretch run and was widest approaching the half-mile, chased three wide into the far turn, angled back out for the stretch drive, made a late run in the final sixteenth but could not impact the leaders in deep stretch. HERECOMEGEORGIEBOY allowed to settle in the early stages, was coaxed two to three wide along the backstretch run, ran in pursuit three deep nearing the quarter pole, chased to mid-stretch then flattened out in the final sixteenth. CANDY'S WILDCAT showed speed away from the start and was sent for the early lead, showed the way while clear into the first turn then dictated terms into the backstretch run, carved out a decent pace to the quarter pole, was overtaken nearing the furlong marker and gave way in the final stages. SAQEEL settled early, coaxed three wide along the backstretch run, chased two wide to the quarter pole, churned on through the stretch but could not muster the needed late response and finished evenly. EL SIETE LEGUAS tracked the early pace from the second flight, was well placed while saving ground into the backstretch run, chased from the inside heading into the far turn, could not keep pace into upper stretch and weakened in the final furlong. ITS THIEVERY settled in the second flight while outside of rivals early on, tucked in into the backstretch and was coaxed two wide to the half-mile, got caught in traffic and steadied at the three-eighths marker, lost position nearing the quarter pole and did not threaten in the stretch. CODE BREAKER was forwardly placed in the early running, tracked the pace three deep to the backstretch run, chased the pacesetter into the far turn, spun four wide to upper stretch and tired in the drive.
