Chart notes
GARAVANI leaned inwardly at the start and was slow into stride, trailed along the inside, progressed while saving ground around the far turn, bid inside of the leader in upper stretch and drove clear leaving the furlong grounds. CANTPUTAPRICEONFUN led in the two path, felt pressure from an outer pair in to the backstretch, inched free around the far turn, but got collared by an inner bidder in upper stretch, proved no match at the furlong grounds and was second best. BEVERLY T stalked in the four path, prompted outside of the top pair into the backstretch, pursued in range turning for home, but got outkicked for place by an inner rival entering the lane then was no match for the top pair. VALLEY ECHO stalked along the inside while coming under a strong hold around the first turn, tipped to the three path to take aim outside of the leader reaching the quarter pole, but got outkicked by a foe on either side shortly after and yielded. NOT A WORD raced off of the pace in the three to five path and failed to factor. ONI raced forwardly two wide and between horses, moved to vie in the three path and between horses into the backstretch, sustained pressure until the far turn then weakened between horses with five sixteenths to go.
