Chart notes
FIRST CALL led in the two path, then between prompters around the turn, maintained an advantage from a persistent inner challenger through midstretch, came in slightly in the final sixteenth and shook clear while hanging on his left lead. BODENHEIMER raced close up along the inside, prompted inside of the leader around the turn, sustained his challenge while fended off through midstretch, checked subtly when put to tight quarters in the final sixteenth, yielded late and held place. DAGGER RANCH broke a step slow and was slow into stride, trailed near the inside then ran on willingly in the three path and was denied reaching place late. TOOLITTLETOOLATE prompted three deep into and around the turn, but yielded in the four path in upper stretch then kept on mildly. BEDROCK raced off of the pace in the three path, shifted out to the six path in midstretch and failed to factor. LEMON MERINGUE stalked outside of the leading trio then gave way while hanging on his left lead. THE RIDER OF BODENHEIMER CLAIMED FOUL AGAINST FIRST CALL ALLEGING INTERFERENCE IN DEEP STRETCH, BUT THE OBJECTION WAS DISALLOWED BY THE STEWARDS.
