Chart notes
LA MAXIMA broke outward into foes, took charge shortly after, asked for by the rider with left handed urging in the upper stretch, switched sticks for the final furlong to stay on task. SWEET AURORA G broke sharply, opted to track the pace, closed in along the inside of the turn to enter the stretch just behind the pace, held at bay by the winner. METALLIC MAID was rated along the inside, improved for the show award but was no match for the top two. VE NINA was rated four wide, lost ground rounding the far turn to enter the stretch eight wide, passed tiring foes. BETSY LOUISE broke inward into foes, settled off the pace, never threatened. MISS MADDIE broke slowly, trailed for most, passed retreating foe. CUSTOM VALUE was bumped between foes at the start, chased the early pace, backed off through the turn, lost ground at the quarter, retreated down the stretch.
