Chart notes
C V JERSEY BEE vied with STORMED OUT for the early lead, shook that one off to open a clear lead entering the stretch and increased his advantage. MAN'S CHOICE was reserved off the pace, moved up three-wide nearing the quarter pole and finished in a mild rally. SILENT DRILL saved ground while being allowed to settle but lacked a rally when asked. RAY'S EMPIRE was unhurried early, came five-wide into the stretch and was not a threat. TAHLEQUAH JOE was forwardly placed racing two-wide but weakened during the drive. STORMED OUT vied for the early lead from along the inside and tired. A VAN ON THE RUN raced in the back of the field and trailed. DRILL'S BOY stumbled at the start unseating his rider and was walked off following the race. THE STEWARDS CONDUCTED AN INQUIRY INTO THE START BUT AFTER VIEWING THE FILMS MADE NO CHANGE IN THE OIRDER IF FINISH,
