Chart notes
BIG LUCKY settled in the back of the field, rallied six-wide into the stretch and was up in the final sixteenth despite drifting in late. THRU THE VINE was reserved off the early pace, rallied four-wide into the stretch and finished strongly. AFRAIDOFTHEBUNNY tracked the pace racing two-wide, came three-wide into the stretch and finished well in a steady effort. DR SCHUSTER settled in the middle of the field, rallied five-wide into the stretch and then went evenly late. STRAVA was forwardly paced racing two-wide, took the lead entering the stretch and then weakened slightly late. ATKINS was allowed to settle, came two-wide into the stretch but lacked a rally. COLONEL POPPY was unhurried while racing two-wide and failed to threaten. PATRIARCHAL dropped back early while saving ground and was not a factor. SUNSET TOWN saved ground setting the pace to the stretch and tired. THE STEWARDS CONDUCTED AN INQUIRY INTO THE STRETCH RUN BUT AFTER VIEWING THE FILMS MADE NO CHANGE IN THE ORDER OF FINISH.
