Chart notes
PERFECT LIFE was antsy in the gate, showed early speed inside rivals then back off a bit to stalk around the first turn, angled out to the four path around the far turn, drew alongside the leader into the last sixteenth and dug in to edge the runner-up in the closing moments. UNION HEIRESS broke a step slow, raced outside a rival at the rear into the first turn then pulled three deep around the bend, moved up outside the top pair on the backstretch, took over at the quarter pole, put away inner rival approaching the stretch, led under right handed urging into the last sixteenth and yielded grudgingly to the winner late. SELSAE traveled on the inside then pulled two wide around the clubhouse turn, angled out on the second bend, came five wide into the lane, took aim in the stretch but lacked the needed late kick. BRANDON'S GIRL fought three deep into the first turn then dueled from outside, vied between rivals exiting the backstretch, led briefly past the five-sixteenths pole, lost command at the quarter pole and tired in the stretch run. PRINCESS DADDY challenged for the lead between runners into the first turn then moved inside dueling with BRANDON'S GIRL, fought with a pair of rivals around the second bend, could not kick on with the new leader into the stretch and folded.
