VICKY LYN had early foot between rivals then steadied a bit prior to the first turn, tracked the top pair outside a rival or in the two path to the far turn, angled out and was on the move four then three wide, fought outside the leader turning for home, seized control in upper stretch, dueled with GOJE through the final furlong and gamely prevailed. GOJE set the tone under pressure from GOGOTIZ on the outside, put that rival away with three furlongs remaining, challenged by VICKY LYN coming into the lane, lost command in upper stretch, fought back to the wire and proved a game second. HAVE STYLE broke a step slow, chased on the inside, shifted out and brushed GOGOTIZ to make room at the five-sixteenths pole, took aim two wide into the stretch, could not match the top pair in the final furlong but was able to hold off BABY NEEDS SHOES for the show. BABY NEEDS SHOES had to take hold when running on the heels of VICKY LYN early, shifted out early on the first turn then returned to the two path, moved into range between rivals on the second bend, lacked the needed response down the lane and failed to get by HAVE STYLE for third. RISKY PLEASURE broke a step slow, laid off the pace on the inside, drew closer in the middle stages, hit rail at the three-eighths pole, ridden within range from the fence on the far turn, cut the corner into the stretch and flattened out. TATE BATZ raced out wide then steered to the two path for the first turn, chased between rivals at the back early on the second bend, found the rail with a quarter mile remaining, steered back out in the lane and failed to rally. GENUINE GRACE located towards the rear early in the two path, went three deep into the far turn, chased two wide coming into the lane and failed to menace. HUMIDITY tracked three wide approaching the first turn then got forced out by BABY NEEDS SHOES early on the bend, was able to angle back to the three path, continued three wide into the far turn, moved out four wide around that bend and weakened in the drive. GOGOTIZ pressed the pace from outside to the far turn, could not keep up with the leader early on the bend, got brushed by HAVE STYLE at the five-sixteenths pole and tired down the lane. LONG RANGE PURSUIT was off slow to begin, trailed on the inside and was never a factor.
