MARS MAGIC laid off the pace two wide into the turn, stayed off the rail through the bend, angled out for a clear run, rallied under right handed urging, drew alongside CHRISTEL CLEAN in the final fifty yards and got in time. CHRISTEL CLEAN settled off the pace, moved into the two path, angled four wide late on the turn, rallied to the front past the eighth pole, led into deep stretch, challenged by MARS MAGIC late and got nailed at the wire. AMERICA'S MARK tracked the top pair from inside down the hill, bid from the fence in the drive and got outkicked by the top pair. BESSIE COLEMAN dueled from inside, held a short lead over outer rival through the turn, lost command in upper stretch, fought between rivals to the sixteenth pole and yielded late. GOODNIGHT NELLIE stalked the top pair outside a rival down the hill, lacked room coming into the stretch all the way to the eighth pole, altered out into the clear in midstretch and kept trying to the wire. LONG MAYSHE REIGN dueled from outside, took over in upper stretch, lost command past the eighth pole and weakened in the late stages. NELL'S LEGACY settled off the pace, raced three deep early on the turn, moved out over the dirt and could not rally. LAMPORGHINI unhurried in the opening stages, angled to the inside for the turn, got shuffled behind LEGAL FICTION on the turn, tipped out into the clear and was never a factor. LEGAL FICTION allowed to settle in the early going, moved inside, drifted out a bit early on the turn, altered out from fallen rival over the dirt, eased in the lane and walked off. GARDEN PARTY was off slow to begin, traveled outside a rival at the back into the turn, angled in late on the bend, fell crossing onto the dirt and was transported off the track via equine ambulance. THE STEWARDS CONDUCTED AN INQUIRY INVOLVING THE INCIDENT CROSSING THE DIRT AND RULED THERE WOULD BE NO CHANGE.
