Chart notes
GRONKSFLYINSEAGULL showed sharp early speed to set the pace, responded when challenged on the turn, dug in gamely in the two path in the final furlong and held well under urging for the win. WIZARDOFEZ chased two wide, made a brief bid on the turn, then rallied three wide in the stretch run, dug in gamely to the finish and got the nod for second. WARRIOR'S WAY OUT chased inside, chased on the turn, rallied on the rail in the final furlong and just missed for the place spot. BEARING DOWN raced off the rail, off the pace, chased on the turn and lacked a rally. KERNER was off slowly, raced off the pace inside, chased on the turn and tired. PALACE REVOLT was a bit reluctant loading, dropped far back on the turn and was eased up in the stretch.
