Chart notes
LIMITED HEATWAVE broke inward tightening a rival, corrected and edged up three wide into the first turn, settled in range and in the clear near the five eighths, edged up and gave hard chase outside a rival leaving the far turn, circled four wide with momentum into the lane, closed steadily under pressure, reeled in the leader from the outside in deep stretch then spurted clear nearing the wire. K R RULES pulled clear from an inner rival mid way on the first turn, set a rated pace two wide, widened a bit under asking leaving the three eighths, wandered outward inside the furlong grounds, clung to command near the sixteenth marker then gave way grudgingly. BRASS , in close leaving the gate, dropped off the pace, was under a ride outside a foe leaving the far turn, circled four wide into the stretch, churned on and got the bob for the show. DEKUDYLAN , inside and under asking past the half, angled out and came three wide into the stretch, advanced between rivals near the sixteenth marker, kept on trying to the inside of BRASS but was edged for third. MALA , bumped and in tight at the break, raced off the pace and four wide nearing the half, shifted out some for the drive but lacked a solid response. FANCY DANCER , bumped and in tight leaving the gate, rated off the pace, saved ground early on, angled out then back in but came up empty in the final furlong. JIMMY'S WILD BOY , bumped at the break, showed speed and led into the first turn, ceded to an outer foe then angled out to stalk, was under a hearty ride chasing to the inside of the winner near the five sixteenths and weakened. This race had a timing discrepancy or malfunction and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time.
