Chart notes
RATLEFF , well placed outside a rival and within range of a spirited duel, gathered momentum three wide leaving the three eighths, rolled up to engage NO ORDINARY TIGER entering the lane, battled on a slim lead past the three sixteenths, was fully extended to shake free near the sixteenth marker then was fully extended under right handed asking to deny EVANDERKEEN. EVANDERKEEN settled off the embattled leaders while off the inside, picked up steam three wide nearing the lane, split runners leaving mid stretch, finished up well but was kept at bay. NO ORDINARY TIGER broke outward, corrected and rushed up to contention four wide outside rivals, tapered in and joined FRISCO for the lead leaving the seven eighths, went head to head with that one through the backstretch run, edged away slightly past the five sixteenths then dug in when confronted by the winner, fought to the inside of that one past mid stretch then gave way stubbornly in gritty effort. RESULTANT , well back inside, moved up a bit past the three eighths, worked outward in the drive and offered a belated rally. GOLDEN GREEK , off the pace and off the inside, circled four wide with some run into the stretch, chased past mid stretch then flattened out. DRIVE TRAIN lagged far back, came four wide for the drive, angled out and failed to get involved. THIRSTY VISION , forward early along the inner rail, chased to the inside of the winner leaving the five eighths, failed to respond in upper stretch and faded. FRISCO was sent to a slim lead along the rail into the first turn, was joined near the seven eighths, sparred to the five sixteenths, shifted out a path entering the lane then tired through the final furlong. This race had a timing discrepancy or malfunction, and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time.
