Chart notes
JUILLIARD went to the early lead to the half mile marker then chased the leader around the turn and re-took command near the eighth pole and drew clear. RUNHAPPY D'ORO was forwardly place early and surged to the lead near the half mile marker, drew clear on the turn but was collared near the eighth pole but kept on to be a clear second. COPPER MAGICIAN was never far back down the backstretch then made a three wide bid on the turn to be best of the rest. NIGHT PASSAGE was close up on the pace early then dropped back to trail the field into the stretch and show a mild late interest to improve his position late. BIG MUCKITY raced off the pace early then faded on the turn and was not a factor. CABO MISCHIEF was close up on the pace from the inside to the half mile marker before falling back and failed to menace.
