Chart notes
ELUSIVE POWER broke sharply to rush to the lead, drew clear near the half mile marker and lasted. STORMS LAST raced near the back to the turn then moved up between horses near the three sixteenth marker, tipped out to four wide in upper stretch and was gaining late and missed. LIGHT THE CODE raced within striking distance down the backstretch then moved up from two wide on the turn before flattening out but proved a clear third. VESTES trailed the field to midway through the turn, tipped out to four wide in upper stretch and made a mild rally to improve his position. THE LAST MOXY was away alertly, then settled in the middle of the pack down the backstretch, tipped out to five wide around the turn but failed to menace. HE'S A ROCK raced close up on the pace while saving ground then made a mild bid on the turn but lacked the late response. RISKY WITH WHISKEY stalked the pace from four wide to midway through the turn and gave way. WHIP pressed the pace to the half mile marker before falling back around the turn and was outrun.
