Chart notes
CHICA TIGRE dueled for the lead with an inner rival from the three path, took command passing the three-eighths pole, opened up under coaxing passing the quarter, kicked on while drifting out down the lane, and dug in gamely thru the final sixteenth to hold off a late outer challenger. LONG RANGE PURSUIT was slow into stride leaving the gate, trailed from the two path into the backstretch, improved between foes around the far turn, came under a hard drive passing the quarter, angled out to the six path at the top of the stretch, ran on to bid in the final sixteenth, but was held off by the winner. TRAIN STATION stalked in the four path, was driven into the far turn, and kept on down the lane to clearly be best of the rest. SCARLETT LETTER vied for the lead against the winner along the inside, began to lose ground while coming under a ride passing the three-eighths pole, checked along the rail midway around the far turn, and yielded in the stretch. DANZING MIST tracked in the three path, was pushed along passing the half, and retreated around the far turn.
