Chart notes
LANSDOWNE (GB) pressed the pace inside of the winner from the two path, vied for the lead along the inside entering the far turn, came under pressure midway around the far turn, fought on with an outer pair while floating out to the four path down the lane, but flattened out around the sixteenth to show. MONEYSHOT bumped with an outer foe at the start, rated in the three path, ranged up under a drive to bid from the four path passing the quarter, stayed on to lead from the six path passing the furlong grounds, but got bumped outwards by an inner rival around the sixteenth pole, and edged out late. SEVENTEEN BLACK bumped with an inner foe at the start, stalked in the four path but gave way around the far turn. COASTAL KID set a contested pace in the three path, came under coaxing midway around the far turn, lost the lead while between foes from the five path at the top of the lane, but battled on stubbornly into the final furlong, drifted out and bumped with the inner leader under left handed urging around the sixteenth pole, but drew ahead in the closing stages.
