Chart notes
MISS ESCAPADE was hustled along to match strides inside of SMOOTH PEBBLE before taking the lead near the half mile marker then pulled away on the turn but had to battle down the stretch to win the nod. SMOOTH PEBBLE showed good early foot to press the pace from two wide then battled down the stretch but was outnodded. POP CHART raced off the pace while saving ground to the top of the stretch then made a rail bid to finish strong but lost the photo. GYPSY ROSE was slow into stride leaving the gate, settled near the back to the top of the stretch then showed her best strides with a late run and missed. DIXIE PENNY was forwardly placed from two wide through the turn but lacked the late response. ASPIRATIONAL trailed the field and was outrun.
