Chart notes
GOSPEL WAR CRY was near the back early then steadily advanced from five wide to circle the field and ran down the leader to clear late. NJUSTLIKETHAT roused forward to vie for the lead from three wide to the turn then fell back slightly but made a rebid down the stretch to be second best. MAGICAL MAX rushed up to take a early narrow lead before matching strides with CHEROKEE WILL to deep stretch and gave way grudgingly. CHEROKEE WILL pressed the pace from the inside then moved up to match strides with MAGICAL MAX to deep stretch before weakening. SMILING TIME raced in the middle of the pack while saving ground, made a mild bid on the turn to improve his position. RIDEN THE LEGEND was away alertly and stalked the pace from four wide but lacked a late response and proved best of the rest. DIAMONDS R LUCKY raced in the middle of the pack but failed to menace. EURO K raced off the pace to midway down the backstretch before retreating. RAINBOW DANCER trailed the field to the turn then made a mild bid but was not a threat. SNAZZY MAN raced in the middle of the pack early then dropped back and was not a factor. BUSY BEAR raced near the back and was outrun. MERLIN THE RED broke sharply to be close up on the pace to the turn then slowly faded.
