Chart notes
VORPAL made the early lead, stayed near the inner rail setting the pace, drifted out late and dug in stubbornly. STRADIVARIAN stayed outside the winner, gamely chased that one and closed the gap late. LEVON lacked speed, was four deep leaving the backstretch and around the turn and rallied. MCCLUSKY , allowed to settle, raced three wide leaving the far turn, swung to the five path in upper stretch and had a slight rally outside rivals. COASTAL WATERS , along the rail the first turn, was a forward factor inside horses leaving the backstretch and weakened. CROSS THE CAUSEWAY , no factor, swung wide in upper stretch. HARD GOLD , three wide the first turn, raced in the four path outside horses on the backstretch and impeded TABLE FOR TWO when bearing in leaving the backstretch. STREET VENDOR remained along the rail around the first turn and was outrun. TABLE FOR TWO , well off the rail entering the backstretch, stumbled when clipping the heels of HARD GOLD and was eased. Following a stewards' inquiry, HARD GOLD was disqualified and placed ninth. Copyright 2026 Equibase Company LLC. All Rights Reserved.
