Chart notes
CURLINGTON reserved behind the embattled pacesetters, lodged a prolonged inside bid at the half mile marker, responded well to pressure and was driven clear in the stretch. TWENTYEIGHTTOTHREE forced the pace between foes, drew even on the far turn and was outfinished in the final eighth. AUTHENTIC KINGDOM set a contested pace, was challenged from both sides on the far turn, raced in tight quarters nearing the quarter pole, was angled three wide soon after and came up empty. COMMINGLING raced in striking position while three wide, led briefly at the quarter pole, went four wide into the stretch and flattened out. FOLLOWING THE RACE, THE RIDER OF AUTHENTIC KINGDOM LODGED A CLAIM OF FOUL AGAINST THE RIDER OF CURLINGTON ALLEGING INTERFERENCE IN THE VICINITY OF THE QUARTER POLE. AFTER REVIEWING VIDEOTAPED REPLAYS, THE STEWARDS MADE NO CHANGES TO THE ORDER OF FINISH.
