Chart notes
SIR MENDEL off a beat slowly, was reserved in the early going, commenced a bid on the turn, rallied four wide under a drive and was going away at the finish. ROCK ANNA ROLL stalked the early pace, advanced on the turn, led into the stretch, proved no match for the top one and stayed on. BRIGHT CHARGER outpaced early, was urged on the far turn, swung out five wide for the stretch run and managed a mild rally. DIXIELAND CHILL grabbed the early lead, was hooked on the turn, got headed soon after and gave way. ROLLY was settled closest to the inside rail and lacked a rally. STIFLING HEAT broke outwardly, was always outrun while five wide and walked off.
