Chart notes
CORIE'S BOY saved ground staking the pace, swung out to come five-wide into the stretch, caught FIFTH STREET nearing the eighth pole and prevailed under strong handling. FIFTH STREET dueled for the lead with CROSSRIGHTHANDS for the lead from along the outside, came four-wide into the stretch and held on gamely during the drive. TIGER BY THE TAIL settled in the middle of the field, came six-wide into the stretch and finished in a mild rally. CROSSRIGHTHANDS dueled with FIFTH STREET for the lead to the stretch and weakened. DIABLO ROSSO saved ground while being unhurried and failed to seriously threaten. COPPER STATE raced in the back of the field, came two-wide into the stretch and failed to be a factor. SPEND AGAIN was prominent early racing three-wide and tired. USING NITRO gave way after showing brief early speed. This race had a timing discrepancy or malfunction, and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time.
