Chart notes
CELESTIAL BODY had very light bumps on both sides at the start, was still away well enough to attend the pace pressing from outside, took a narrow advantage from between foes two to three wide about three furlongs out, kicked clear in upper stretch, held safe while being kept to task. IT'S CAROL'S WAY exchanged light contact at the start, moved to the rail tucking in behind the leaders stalking up close, saved ground on the turn, moved out leaving that bend coming into upper stretch five deep, drifted out a bit at that juncture, kept on late to gain steadily but slowly and closed the gap. MAIZEY BLUE had just a minor brush at the start, soon took the lead, set a pressured pace inside just off the rail, was thoroughly challenged into and on the turn, weakened in the stretch. TRUDA bumped the inside foe at the start, stalked from outside, took closer order at the half, was in contention three to four wide passing the three-eighths, floated out a bit leaving the turn, faltered in the stretch. LUCKY LUCKY ME stumbled just after the start also exchanging minor brushing with a foe, was outpaced early switching out well off the inside, was never a factor.
