Chart notes
KYLE'S MOM tracked in behind the leader just removed from the fence, swung out a bit at the top of the stretch with aim, struck the fore in mid-stretch, edged away. COQUITO was quick to take the lead, set the pace inside and off the rail shadowed by an outside foe, was just clear turning for home and put to urging at that point, got overtaken in mid-stretch, was no match but clearly second best. YANKEE DOODLE lacked early speed and was encouraged along outside off the leading quartet, was encouraged more stoutly from the three-eighths moving out from four to five wide, fanned six to seven deep coming into upper stretch, was no match for the top pair but best of the rest. LUNA MOTH stalked from outside going three to four wide on the turn, failed to rally. WHISTLER'S STYLE was a bit slow to gather at the start, made a mild advance up the inside heading up the backstretch, was asked past the quarter pole but was unable to threaten. FLOGE was away well pressing from outside, encouraged along three wide late on the turn, floated out a couple paths leaving that bend, faded in the stretch.
