Chart notes
JUBA'S NOTION cruised clear around the first turn, in command down the backside, never challenged leaving the furlong marker, held sway driving. DEFIANT GIANT relaxed well off the pace, given the queue five wide into the lane, fought on willingly to secure the place award. YANKEE DOODLE KID rated off the pace around the first two turns, chased four then five wide through the lane, finished evenly lost the show placing late. NO LOVE FOR JUBA broke alertly, chased the swift pace just off the rail into the far turn, under pressure leaving the furlong marker, faded through the stretch. STROLLINGINTHEWIND shuffled back soon after the start, rated off the pace inside into the far turn, rail bid upper, came up empty. PER RULING 7 FROM THE CHARLES TOWN RACES BOARD OF STEWARDS, YANKEE DOODLE KID IS DISQAULIFIED FROM THIRD TO UNPLACED DUE TO INELIGIBILITY.
