Chart notes
JUST FOR THE MONEY prompted PALLINO from along the outside, gained a slight lead nearing the eighth pole and edged clear late. COOL COUPLE settled in the back of the field, rallied-wide into the stretch and finished strongly. PALLINO saved ground setting the pace, responded when headed by JUST FOR THE MONEY at the quarter pole and held on well for the showl. FOURDATESFORHOCO was allowed to settle, came three-wide into the stretch and went evenly late. DREAM ON BABY was off a step slow then was unhurried, rallied six-wide into the stretch and failed to seriously threaten. IMPROBABLE FIRST bobbled at the start then raced in the middle of the field, came three-wide into the stretch and was not a factor.
