Chart notes
VIBRANT EXPRESS broke outwardly but alertly then settled off the leader stalking from outside, moved to challenge late on the turn, bid past the quarter pole, bumped with the inside for at the top of the stretch, moved clear in mid-stretch, held while being kept to task. PAIR OF SOCKS was forced out just a bit at the start, shifted in approaching the half, saved ground on the turn, gained steadily but slowly inside through the stretch but was only second best. MY MITOLE was forced out a bit at the start, lacked early speed bringing up the rear, swung six wide into the stretch, was along for show outside. YO BANANA BOY was urged from the start moving forward to take the lead, set the pace inside just off the rail, floated out a bit leaving the turn exchanging contact with a rival at the top of the stretch, yielded. ANTONIO OF VENICE switched out heading up the backstretch, stalked from mid-division, went three wide on the turn, came to the top of the stretch five wide and within striking distance but failed to rally. FOLLOWING A STEWARDS' INQUIRY NO ACTION WAS TAKEN.
