Chart notes
HOOF AND BOOTS prompted the pace inside, tipped out passing the quarter, floated out to the five path at the top of the lane, rallied past the inner pacesetter before the sixteenth pole, and kept the game runner up at bay. LADY MIDSHIPMAN stalked outside of an inner pair, took aim under a drive in the six path at the top of the stretch, ran on in tandem with the winner, but was second best. CASSY CASSY vied for the lead, held command in the two path rounding the turn, drew away at the top of the lane, but yielded to an outer pair around the sixteenth. BETTY WHO tracked the early pace but retreated along the inside around the turn. LAST CALL JENNA raced in range early but yielded around the turn. HAYAMI had a slow start and trailed throughout. THE VIEW OF THIS RACE WAS OBSTRUCTED BY A SNOWSTORM.
