Chart notes

HOPE'S ALIVE seized command in the early going, remained clear into the stretch, was well-handled throughout and maintained his advantage under steady pressure in the stretch. WALDRIP chased between foes early, advanced on the far turn, kept on in the stretch, and asserted in a determined fashion to secure the place spot. LAST ROMANCE saved ground early, was maneuvered off of the rail on the far turn and finished well while four wide in the stretch. STRIKING SPARKS raced in striking position while three wide, was urged on the far turn and came up empty. MY REDEMPTION raced forwardly along the inside, was moved off the rail on the far turn and had no rally. METALHEAD was four wide throughout and never menaced. SAPPHIRE PRINCE was always outrun while five wide most of the way.
