Chart notes
SONG OF SONGS settled while three wide in the early going, commenced a bid on the far turn, was briefly urged at the five-sixteenths pole, went four wide into the stretch and forged clear under intermittent pressure. LEXITHEA gained the lead, rank pulled under restraint on the first turn, maintained her lead on the far turn, was brushed aside at the quarter pole but stayed on to garner the place spot. STRATIA outpaced while four wide early, was angled in entering the stretch and kept on well enough to earn black type. MINISTER CONFESSOR chased along the inside, was angled three wide for the back stretch run and offered no bid when called upon. TOPIC THUNDER was reserved early and never involved.
