Chart notes
OUR MONEYMAN tracked the pace three wide, made a bid midway around the far turn to contest BUBBY, claimed a narrow lead just before the eighth pole, held off WHERTHEHITSARE under a firm drive to earn the victory. WHERETHEHITSARE was allowed to settle off the pace, cued four wide through the far turn to enter the stretch in a competitive position alongside two others, pressed on down the stretch and was held off by the winner. BUBBY assumed early command, dictated terms up the backstretch, encountered a bid from OUR MONEYMAN in the far turn, battled that foe in the upper stretch but ultimately gave way and weakened to third. VITRUVIUS settled back to trail the pack, began closing in three wide through the far turn, passed tiring foes in the upper stretch, lacked a bid. MOGUMBEAUX shadowed the pace along the inside, began asking at the three three eighths, failed to respond to any encouragement in the stretch. LAFITTE'S LEGACY chased the pace between runners, began retreating midway through the far turn.
