DR SCHUSTER broke well to go clear around the first turn, continued while uncontested up the backstretch into the far turn, received a right handed cue in the three path midway around the far turn, and stayed on under a drive down the lane to maintain a clear advantage to the wire. ROSE'S PEPINO was pushed along while well behind the leader, continued under a drive in the four path around the far turn, and chased home the winner down the stretch while making little progress.
