Chart notes
PERFECT DATE tracked the pacesetter from the three path, moved up with an outer foe going by the half, came under a ride passing the three-eighths pole, floated out to the five path at the top of the lane, kicked on to bid passing the furlong grounds, and drew ahead in the final sixteenth. LESOTHO set a clear pace in the two path entering the backstretch, got pressed by an outer pair passing the half, was coaxed along around the far turn, ran on in the three path down the stretch, but was caught by the winner around the sixteenth. PRIDE AND ATTITUDE had a slow start, trailed from the four path into the backstretch, went by an inner pair while coming under pressure entering the far turn, ranged up in the four path passing the quarter, and stayed on in the five path down the lane to get up for show late. MOBIL ENSIGN rated inside, was nibbled along around the far turn, kept on in the two path down the lane, but evened out in the final sixteenth to just miss show. TAMPA TEACHER hopped at the start, was out in the five path around the first turn, stalked in the four path entering the backstretch, moved up in tandem with the inner winner passing the half, but dropped back midway around the far turn, then faded in the stretch. COWGIRLTAKEMEAWAY chased in the three path but never threatened.
