Chart notes
CANADIAN BEAR tracked inside of an outer trio up the backstretch, came under pressure while angling out to the four path midway around the far turn, ranged up to bid passing the quarter, took the lead while in the five path at the top of the lane, and drew clear in the final sixteenth. CARMEL ROSE bumped with an inner foe at the start, was out in the five path around the first turn, stalked from there entering the backstretch, loomed passing the half, took the lead while nudged along in the three path passing the three-eighths pole, fought on while losing the lead at the top of the lane, yielded to the winner on the final sixteenth, but was clearly second best. TEMPORARILYFOREVER pressed the inner pacesetter from the three path, bid under a drive around the far turn, angled inside midway around the far turn, flattened in the stretch, but held show. LATE NITE LIZZIE bumped with an outer foe at the start, trailed from the five path turning into the backstretch, was ridden from the three path into the far turn, improved to split tiring rivals midway around the far turn, but faded in the stretch. QUEENOFTHEBUCKEYE raced in range between foes, moved up to vie for the lead passing the half, but lost ground in the five path around the far turn, then weakened down the lane. OH GLORIOUS DAY got fractious in the gate, rated in the two path around the first turn, angled out to the five path passing the half, but retreated. WORLDLY BEAUTY was up close between foes early but weakened in the four path around the far turn. TIERNEY set the pace inside but gave way around the far turn, then was eased thru the final furlong.
