Chart notes
OLLIE BOY was a bit reluctant to load the gate, settled off the pace between runners, shifted out three wide at the top of the stretch, showed a sustained rally to be up in time. WAJDA chased the early pace, moved up along the inside to take charge at the three eighths, opened up a couple lengths in the upper stretch but could not hold off a late drive from OLLIE BOY and got nailed at the wire. BEARING DOWN stumbled at the start, trailed up the backstretch, gained position three wide through the far turn, chased on down the stretch. WARRIOR'S WAY OUT broke alertly to claim early command, met a bid from WAJDA at the three eighths and conceded the lead, pressed the pace through the turn but had no more for the stretch. WAR SALUTE raced off the pace along the inside, trailed at the three eighths, never threatened.
