Chart notes

BACK FORTY applied heavy pressure to the early pace, claimed a narrow lead at the five sixteenths and soon came under pressure from SUSAN'S MULE, rubbed shoulders with that one in the upper stretch and was able to draw clear. SUSAN'S MULE chased the early pace setter, was cued three wide through the turn to compete for the lead with BACK FORTY, rubbed shoulders with that foe in the upper stretch but was no match down the lane. CALVARY KAT settled back to be the early trailer, angled out towards the four path at the top of the stretch, passed tiring rival. PRINCIPIA was quick to set a pressured pace from the inside, relinquished the lead at the five sixteenths, retreated down the stretch.
