Chart notes

SURFSIDE MOON had an awkward start before being steadied, trailed through the first turn, made steady progress four wide up the backstretch, began asking through the far turn to enter the stretch alongside two others, dug in late to edge clear. PRINCE COLTON vied for the early lead alongside MO SAYS, claimed the advantage after the first turn, came under pressure from both sides at the top of the stretch, yielded to both foes just after the eighth but came again late to get the bob for the place honors. AMY'S MUSIC got pinched back at the start, raced off the pace along the inside, was cued midway through the far turn looking to bid on the four path but had no room to get out and repositioned towards the two path, dueled alongside two others in the upper stretch, gave way to the winner at the sixteenth and lost the bob for the place award. GROUP TICKET settled off the pace three wide, changed lanes towards the inside approaching the far turn to save ground, rallied along the rail of the stretch but got out-finished for any minor awards. OHIO JOE settled off the pace between runners, lacked bid, never threatened. MO SAYS vied for the early lead alongside PRINCE COLTON, conceded command after the first turn and chased the leader up the backstretch, faded fast through the far turn to trail by the top of the stretch, eased across.
