Chart notes
PUPIL sped away from the gates to set the pace with a clear lead before drawing off and was kept to task under light urging. WINGS OF GOD settled in the middle of the pack from the two path down the backstretch then tipped out to the four path while moving up on the turn, tipped out to the six path going into the stretch then made a late rally to be second best. A LA CARTE raced near the back down the backstretch then moved up from the two path on the turn while going between horses near the quarter pole to make the late run but was outfinished. GOLDEN GOAL raced close up early then chased the leader through the turn but lacked a late kick. ACTION MAN trailed the field to the top of the stretch then made a mild belated bid to improve his position. HELLO JELLO stalked the pace from the four path to the half mile marker then fell back before the turn, looked to make a rebid racing in the four path going into the stretch but he had no response. GHOSTAGAIN prompted the pace early from the two path then chased the leader through the turn before giving way.
