Chart notes
HAPPY RANCH saved ground setting the pace, drifted out slightly to be two-wide entering the stretch and prevailed under strong handling. LORD ANTHEM was forwardly placed racing three--wide, came four-wide into the stretch and finished strongly. AINT BEHAVIN saved ground while being reserved off the pace, swung out to be three-wide entering the stretch and finished in a mild rally. PINE RUN chased HAPPY RANCY racing two-wide but lacked a rally when asked. BOOMING BERNARDO was unhurried, rallied five-wide into the stretch, had his rider lose the whip nearing the eighth pole and failed to seriously threaten. COLONEL BROCK was allowed to settle, came four-wide into the stretch and failed to be a factor.
