Chart notes
SAND PAYNTER vied with PONDEROSA for the early lead from along the outside, shook that one off nearing the half mile pole to open a clear lead and ,maintained a safe advantage. ROCKNTHECLUBHOUSE was forwardly placed racing two-wide, angled to the inside nearing the quarter pole and finished strongly. PONDEROSA vied for the early lead from along the inside, dropped back slightly on the far turn then came four-wide into the stretch and finished in a mild rally. LIL ANTHONY was off a step slow then moved up three-wide on the first turn to be prominently placed, came four-wide into the stretch and weakened in the late stages. MONEY MITCH saved ground while being allowed to settle, swung out to come five-wide into the stretch but lacked a rally. GIANT IMPACT was unhurried, came two-wide into the stretch but was unable to seriously threaten.
