Chart notes
LEWIS MEMORIAL vied for the early advantage, dueled on the front end throughout, saved ground and drove clear before the wire. WITCHOLOGY unhurried in the beginning, moved up on the outside around the final turn, made a wide bid, proved no match for the winner, but got up for second. TOMS LUCKY MO raced within contention, was close throughout and got outfinished for second. DIXIE STRONG raced within striking distance, came around the first turn on the outside, made a bid at the 3/4 pole and hung down the lane. HOUSTONS EAGLE lacked early speed, showed late interest, while racing wide, but was no factor. ALWAYSFREAKY raced within striking distance, saved ground around the second turn, made a bid and hung. BIG ROUX pressed the pace, faded and was no threat late. BEACH TRIPPIN raced near the back, came around the first turn on the outside, made a bid at the 3/4 pole and was finished early. PRINCE LIAM always raced near the back, came around the second turn on the outside and showed little. CHARISMATIC SAILOR flashed brief speed and dropped to the rear.
