Chart notes
CLEARLY ARTEMUS challenged for the early lead, forwardly placed throughout, saved ground and drove clear deep in the home stretch. CANDY DREAMIN raced near the back in the early going, moved up on the outside around the final turn, made a wide rally, proved no match for the winner, but got up for second. BDS TOP GUN lacked early speed, raced five wide around the first turn, moved to the inside around the final turn and got up for third. DON PABLO dueled for the early lead, raced close throughout and lacked a late kick. MATCHING FUNDS pressed the pace, raced outside around the final turn and weakened. MO CAN DO void of early speed, raced outside around the first turn and was never close. BUZZ LIGHTFOOT raced within contention, dropped back and was outrun.
