Chart notes
WICKED AS HAGGART went to the front, drove clear, pulled away and won handily. SAME PLAY unhurried in the beginning, had an outside trip, made a late bid, proved no match for the winner, but was a clear second. HEAVENLY DEAL raced in the back of the field in the beginning, came around the final turn on the outside, made a wide gain and proved no match for the top two. C F SPUNIE STYLE pressed the pace, faded and was no threat late. CORPORAL PAUL showed early interest, dropped back and was no threat late. ICE'M UP BOYS lacked early speed, stumbled down the backside, lost rider and was transported by equine ambulance. A STEWARDS INQUIRY WAS CALLED INTO THE RUNNING OF THE RACE. AFTER VIEWING REPLAYS NO ACTION WAS TAKEN.
