Chart notes
PERRY COUNTY sprinted to the front, drove clear, opened up down the home stretch and was kept to the task. ZAMBEZI unhurried in the beginning, racing near the back, moved up on the outside around the final turn, couldn't catch the winner, but was a clear second. THE DONEGAL CLAN lacked early speed, had an outside trip, made a late gain, proved no match for the top two, but was an easy third. BRITE OUTLOOK raced in the middle of the field, entered the home stretch wide, made a mild bid, but was no factor. FEELTHEBEAT raced within contention, saved ground around the final turn, weakened and finished evenly. MR MCGREGOR raced in the middle of the pack, came around the final turn on the outside, made a bid at the 3/4 pole and was finished early. AUTHENTIC GALLOP always raced near the back and showed little. GREAT ESCAPE showed brief speed, dropped back and was outrun.
