Chart notes
AVERY PLACE settled outside of rivals to begin, widest to the half-mile point, asked five wide upper stretch, vied for the lead into the final furlong, edged clear late. SMOOVIN SATURDAY settled while saving ground early, went up and tracked between foes heading to the half-mile, caught in traffic at the quarter pole, bottled up into the stretch, shifted out into the final sixteenth and was able to get up for second in a good effort. ZILARRO settled to the first turn, went up and stalked the decent pace three wide approaching the half-mile, dueled MISINFORMATION into the far turn then vied for the lead into the stretch, was outkicked in the final sixteenth and just missed for the place, while holding safely for the show. MISINFORMATION took early command, set the pace two wide heading to the half-mile point, met bid of ZILARRO nearing the quarter pole then dug in into the stretch, could not hold off oncoming rivals in the final sixteenth and yielded late. MISCHIEF MAKER forward early, pressed the pace from the inside into the backstretch, chased into the stretch, could not find more in the lane and gave way in the final furlong. FORTY TWENTY settled early, stalked the decent pace four wide heading to the half-mile, lacked the needed response to upper stretch and weakened in the drive. DANEYKO settled, coaxed two wide heading to the far turn, no threat stretch. C. P. A. JIM settled, saved ground to the second turn, outrun to the quarter pole, no factor late.
