Chart notes
I'M A DREAMER TOO broke alertly and was sent to contest the early pace, dueled two wide to the quarter pole, drifted to the three path into upper stretch then carried out a rival leaving the three-sixteenths, dug in while under pressure into the final furlong, kept to task late and held well for the win. HENNESSY LOOKER RF contested the early pace from the inside, took back into the turn then swung widest nearing the top of the lane, responded well into the drive, was gaining late, could not reel in the winner into deep stretch but was along in time for second. WRECKING STORM bobbled at the start, chased from the outside into the turn, loomed three to four wide nearing the top of the lane, was crowded and carried out by I'M A DREAMER TOO leaving the three-sixteenths, battled into the final furlong, was turned away in the final sixteenth and just held third. NOBODY'S PERFECT off a step slow, settled to the turn then chased the pace between foes heading to the quarter pole, caught in tight nearing the top of the lane, found room into the stretch and split rivals into the final furlong, was trying into deep stretch but outkicked in the final yards. SAPELLO SICARIO hard sent leaving the gate, disputed the pace from the inside heading into the turn, dueled to upper stretch, could not keep pace into the final furlong and faded in the drive. THE STEWARDS CONDUCTED AN INQUIRY INTO THE ACTIONS OF I'M A DREAMER TOO AND WRECKING STORM AT THE TOP OF THE STRETCH, AND RULED THERE WOULD BE NO CHANGE.
