GHOST BIKE close up to the early pace, took back into the first turn, settled along the backstretch, saved ground to the quarter marker, asked for run to upper stretch, tipped out two wide at the furlong pole, took command nearing the final sixteenth and drew away late. JEDI'S WAY off a step slowly, recovered to be forwardly placed in the early stages, took command into the backstretch then showed the way to the far turn, kicked clear into upper stretch, was overtaken by the winner nearing the sixteenth-pole and just held for second at the wire. TOAST TO COAST assumed early command, was caught in tight and between rivals along the first turn, steadied into the backstretch, recovered then pressed the pace between rivals into the far turn, vied nearing the furlong pole, got outkicked to deep stretch and just missed for second. TURNSANDCONDITIONS close up while widest into the first turn, stalked four wide along the backstretch, chased JEDI'S WAY while three wide into the far turn, ran in pursuit into upper stretch, could not find more late and gave way in the stretch drive. SOUPERSILVERDOLLAR broke a step slowly, advanced between rivals into the first turn while in tight, stalked the pace three deep and between foes along the backstretch, was again caught in tight and shuffled back approaching the far turn, chased four wide to the stretch and weakened late. CLASSIC KING settled while saving ground to the first turn, lacked speed along the backstretch run, was outrun into the far turn and did not factor in the stretch. THE STEWARDS CONDUCTED AN INQUIRY INTO THE RUNNING ALONG THE FIRST TURN, AND RULED THERE WOULD BE NO CHANGE.
