Chart notes
MAXIMUM AGENDA rated to the first turn, coaxed three wide along the backstretch, angled to the rail entering the far turn then was asked for run approaching the quarter marker, confronted RUN BOBBY RUN then dueled inside of that rival into the stretch, fought gamely into the final furlong, poked a head in front in the final sixteenth and dug in late to prevail. RUN BOBBY RUN sent for the early lead, made his own pace while clear into the backstretch run, came under pressure into the far turn and met the bid of MAXIMUM AGENDA at the quarter pole, dueled outside of that rival into the lane, fought gamely to deep stretch and was bested in the final strides, while holding clearly for second. WORKSTATION broke alertly, vied for the lead into the first turn then took back into the backstretch, raced between rivals approaching the half-mile point then angled out into the far turn, swung four wide to upper stretch, was gaining late but could not reel in the top pair and was well clear for third. SECRET CALLER off a step slowly to begin, settled outside of rivals into the first turn, was widest to the half-mile marker, gained ground three wide into the far turn, could not sustain that run to upper stretch and faded in the drive. LUCKY FOR LIFE settled off of the early pace while never far back, saved ground to the backstretch, kept an inside path to the quarter pole, lacked the needed response to upper stretch and failed to threaten late. HE'S MY BOY lunged then tossed his head at the start and was off slowly, settled between rivals into the first turn, unhurried to the half-mile, coaxed two wide and between foes heading to the quarter pole, trailed to upper stretch and did not factor in the late stages.
