Chart notes
HOW ABOUT BOB broke well, stalked the pacesetter into the turn, took command approaching the quarter pole, had some trouble changing leads in the stretch, but held clear to the wire. WEST OF TOWN away well, settled close up inside under wraps, got boxed in late on the turn, tipped out three-wide into the stretch and finished well to gain second. GET DREAMY raced near the back early on, came three-wide into the stretch, and closed in late to gain the third prize. ENDLESS SKYWAY veered out at the start, still made the early lead under some pressure from HOW ABOUT BOB, then gave way in upper stretch. RUNAROUND ROWDY veered outward at the start, settled mid-pack up the backstretch, then advanced three-wide into contention on the turn, got a bit erratic in the stretch, and flattened out. BAR ROOM BUDDY steadily retreated after a level start, chased under a ride in mid-pack to the stretch, and lacked a finish. GOSPEL WAR CRY was off slow, raced at the back, and never threatened.
