Chart notes
TRIGGER POINT bobbled at the start, then hustled to join the early pace battle on the inside, dug in when confronted by REINVEST on the turn, battled back gamely when headed in the upper stretch, re-established the lead in mid-stretch, and held firmly to the wire. THRU THE VINE contested the early pace from between rivals down the backstretch, dropped out before the turn, came under a drive, then came back on up the inside late and gained the place. REINVEST broke outward, pressed the pace three-wide, dueled with TRIGGER POINT through the turn, may have gotten a nose in front in upper stretch, but hung late and came up short. TRICKY TIGER away well but backed off the developing speed duel, was under a drive to keep pace through the turn, was coming back on in the final furlong, but was stuck behind horses and could not find a way through. ONE SMOKIN' RITA ducked out at the start, steadied and was last away, made a belated bid in the stretch, but was not doing enough in the late stages. SOCK IT TO ME came away a little awkwardly and was allowed to settle at the back of the field early, made a mild late move on the turn, then came five-wide into the stretch but was unable to improve.
